Located on the fourth floor of a 19th-century building in a quiet area on the edge of the historic center, from the B&B you can walk to the 'caruggi', the medieval churches, the Palazzi dei Rolli, and the Aquarium in just a few minutes.
The Porta Soprana room is the largest and most "fascinating" room of the B & B: composed of two separate rooms, overlooking Via Caffaro through two high and bright windows equipped with anti-noise glass, although the upper floor is already rather quiet. The ceiling, decorated in tempera at the end of the XIX century, still gives bright colors and delicate shades.
In contrast to the rich decoration of the ceiling and the Genoese grit floor, the furniture is linear and essential, enriched by the blue tones of the mezzero used as a bedspread and upholstery. Speaking of half-backs, do you know the history of these typical fabrics of Genoa. The room can accommodate up to five people (maximum four adults and a boy), as it is equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed in the main bedroom and a double sofa bed in the entrance living room. It has two desks and two televisions, a safe, a small fridge and a kettle for tea. The large bathroom is equipped with a large shower and a double sink. A hairdryer is provided.

Our staff, composed partly of young people with Down syndrome, takes care of welcoming guests and managing the four rooms and the large common area, consisting of a living room, a reading room and a tree-lined and flowered garden, where breakfast is served.
A garden on the fourth floor? Yes, we are in Genoa, a city uphill, between hills, terraces and hidden gardens, near the historic Castelletto elevator of Caproni's poetry ... In our apartment the link with our city is very close: from the traditional "mezzeri" used in all the rooms, to the furnishing objects created by local artisans and artists, up to breakfast with the freshly baked "fugassa" ...
In addition to the fresh Genoese Focaccia every morning, our breakfast includes hot and cold drinks, yogurt, fresh fruit, croissants and various desserts. On request we can also provide a savory breakfast. The same choice is also proposed in a gluten-free version, because we are part of the "Alimentazione Fuori Casa" Network of the Italian Celiac Association.
All rooms have a private bathroom and are equipped with air conditioning, desk, TV, safe, small fridge and kettle. The fast WIFI covers the entire structure, rooms and common area, so the place is also suitable for smart working. Breakfast is included in the cost.
