Refugees Welcome

We put refugees in contact with local people so that they can share a flat in conditions of horizontality and real equality.

Refugees Welcome wants to promote a cultural change and a new model of Welcome. We believe that horizontal hospitality is the best way to facilitate the inclusion of refugees in our country and that it helps more than any other measure to overcome vulnerabilities. It also creates safe spaces that encourage the expression of personal potential, community participation and common well-being.

We combat myths and hoaxes against displaced persons (mainly the refugee population, but also migrant/ stateless/displaced people in our society).

Prejudices and false stereotypes, which generate a distorted and dangerous image of displaced people, who are forced for multiple reasons (because the reality of International Protection is heterogeneous) to flee their countries in search of safety in other countries.
