Oxfam Italia: Nessuno Escluso (Nobody Excluded)

In order to respond to the needs of communities in a concrete way, allowing those who remain on the margins of society to re-emerge, OXFAM Italy intervenes in the territories through the community centers of the Nessuno Escluso project.

In order to respond to the needs of communities in a concrete way, allowing those who remain on the margins of society to re-emerge, OXFAM Italy intervenes in the territories through the 10 community centers of the Nessuno Escluso project.

Thanks to the support of local partners rooted in the territory, the community centers are safe and welcoming places where the most vulnerable people and all those who find themselves in situations of economic and social fragility can find a listening ear, information, guidance in accessing services and support against social exclusion.

What does OXFAM do to help?

• We support the most vulnerable in accessing local social and health services

In this way we can bridge the information gap that people often experience by not knowing what services and opportunities they could access and benefit from in the legal, social, health, educational and employment spheres.

• We support families and children from the most fragile communities

Through after-school activities, we support children and young people against school drop-out. With activities to support parenting, information on economic or tax benefits, training courses, family mediation, socio-cultural activities, and Italian courses, we are at the side of all families.

• We listen to the needs and requirements of the territory

The Community Centres are dedicated spaces through which we detect the needs of the territories thanks to constant interaction with the population, who experience them as real places of active citizenship, participation, sharing.
