G.A.S. Solidarity Purchasing Groups

SDG #12 Responsible Consuption and Production

The diffused rural community in Tuscia, to serve the areas of the territory not yet covered by farmers' markets, organizes solidarity purchasing groups and home delivery of agricultural products. 
Currently, there are two delivery points in the municipalities of Marta and Bolsena and the management of orders is through the e-commerce portal uploaded on the site of the rural community spread. 
The purchasing group, remaining in the furrow of direct contact between producers and consumers and in the idea of encouraging the reconstitution of a local and mutualistic social fabric, sees the organization of its logistics not as a commercial delivery service but as an opportunity for voluntary collaboration. 
Gas users organize themselves in voluntary shifts to manage logistics and avoid price increases. The living costs of the vehicles (managed in community form) are equally distributed.
