Description
Alde Garden is a campsite with a difference. We wanted guests to feel like they were wild camping, but with access to facilities to make their stay just that little bit more fun. Imagine a wildlife garden filled with trees & shrubs, with winding pathways leading to each individual pitch or accommodation. For the accommodation, think rustic - handmade but beautiful, making the most of the character of the wood they are made from. The tent pitches are small, surrounded by trees and wildflowers. Ducks and chickens run free. Rustic facilities include a campfire, jungle shower and fully kitted-out field kitchen. Hidden away near the building there are also mod-cons - clean flush toilets, hot showers, a fridge & washing machine.
Adjacent the campsite is our little award-winning village alehouse - selling locally sourced drinks and snacks.
Also on site is Badger Cottage - a 4 star cottage with two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), a living room with woodburning stove, a kitchen & a bathroom with a deep roll-top cast iron bath
