B&B De Hemelse Polder wants to offer its visitors a warm stay, full of special moments. The small scale and the location provide the special character. It feels like coming home.
Located in the middle of the vast polders, within walking distance of the Dutch border, it is the ideal place to relax, enjoy cycling and walking. Bruges, Sluis, Cadzand, Breskens... are within cycling distance.

Een carrière switch heb ik gemaakt van de financiële sector naar de toeristische sector. Van een sector met veel druk naar een ontspannende sector.
Die stap heb ik niet gezet tijdens mijn actieve loopbaan maar als jong-actief-gepensioneerde. Mijn job was mijn hobby, mijn passie. Mijn andere toch wat bijzondere hobby 'toerisme' was goed te combineren met mijn job.
Meer dan 20 jaar geleden is het allemaal begonnen met het organiseren van huifkartochten. In die 20 jaar heb ik in Sint-Laureins heel wat helpen opstarten en organiseren: een gemeentelijke toeristische adviesraad, de orde van de Sentse paling, culinaire winterwandelingen, fiets en ontdek (een jaarlijkse terugkerende fietstocht), stilte activiteiten, fietszoektochten... . De laatste jaren rekening houdend met Florishing Destinations
