The B&B Stella del Nord is located in the mountains (about 800 meters), in Molise, in a medieval village of about 100 actual inhabitants.

The Bed & Breakfast has 2 rooms (Camera Sole and Camera Luna). Both are located on the first floor of the twentieth-century Palazzo Fanny. The rooms are cool in summer and warm in winter thanks to the external stone walls about a meter thick! To reach the landing, you have to climb just 12 low steps (6+6) of an original lava stone staircase, which allows an easy ascent to the floor even with luggage.



The building, being vintage, does not have an elevator; therefore it is not a B & B recommended for those with motor disabilities.



Heating and hot water is produced with an environmentally friendly multi-material system, using mostly pellets.



Breakfast is served to guests in the spacious room located on the ground floor, where you can access a veranda overlooking the garden and the valley. When the summer permits, breakfast can be served outdoors on the veranda,

From the veranda located on the ground floor you can access, via a stone staircase, the large garden on 2 levels where, in addition to a small vegetable garden, there are fig trees, almonds, plums and flower beds.

The garden allows you to spend pleasant time relaxing sunbathing or reading a good book.

The mountain village of Sant'Elena Sannita is located in a panoramic position from where you can enjoy a splendid view of the Matese (where there are the ski fields of Campitello Matese, about 20 minutes away). The area is very green and excellent for those who love contact with nature.

In the valley where the B &B overlooks it is not uncommon to see beautiful hawks flying in the sky. The dense forests are rich in fauna, such as squirrels, hares, foxes and much more.

In the village there is also a Museum dedicated to Perfume. This is the town where the figure of the grinder originated and many Italian perfumers (including those of Rome and Naples), are originally from Sant'Elena Sannita.

This is one of the central stages of the Way With Wings on the Feet, which winds from Poggio Bustone (Rieti), passes through Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise and then ends in Monte Sant'Angelo, in Puglia.

The village is the ideal starting point to visit beautiful places, including:

- the hermitage on Colle dell'Orso

- Casalciprano with its Open Air Museum of Popular Traditions

- Frosolone, the country of knives and where the engaging passage of Transhumance takes place

- Macchiagodena with its Castle and the Belvedere where a library has been set up for free outdoor consultation

- Sant'Angelo in Grotte, where there is a suggestive church enclosed in the heart of the mountain.

Not to forget other locations such as:

- Civitanova (Civitanova)

- Spinete

- Bojano, the country of mozzarella

- Roccamandolfi, the country of brigands

- Agnone, the land of bells

- Carovilli, the country of truffles

Not to forget Isernia and Campobasso.
