Description
300 meters (!) from back exit of Central Train Station, quiet street, quiet family, next to City Zoo, shared facilities with 4 persons family of parents and two studying children, kitchen, badroom, garden, washing facilities.
The house has solar panels, isolating windows and a heating system renewed in 2019. We live right next to the train station. Bike sharing options at 100 meters from our doorstep (velo-system Antwerp). All your sheets and towels have been washed with soaps that are 100% degradable. We clean the house with degradable soaps. Most of our woods have been treated with natural oils, not with varnish. Your room has a mosquito net in the summer so that we can use repellents as little as possible. The shower is for washing, not for relaxation (this is: do not waste water). We ask our visitors to stay low on deodorants and perfumes in our rooms (aka we prefer natural smells over artificial ones). In Antwerp we have a separated trash disposal. Paper, glass, plastic bottles, metal packaging and drinking cartons need to be recycled. If you're not sure, just ask first or simply use the garbage bin in your room. We are vegetarians going towards veganism (it's hard, but we want to get there). Almost all decoration is recycled. We live in a quiet street with a small park in the back. We are right behind the Zoo of Antwerp (you will hear the lions roar if you listen carefully)
