I'm from Bologna and I work nearby.
Instead of enjoying an extra living room and bathroom in the house, I chose to set up a space to accommodate other people. I have been hosting since June 2021 and for now I have not regretted it at all, despite some stomach ache for someone who has left too much dirt or disorder. For me this activity is first of all a way to get in touch with other people and I have a lot of fun giving suggestions to tourists on what to do in Bologna and its surroundings.
The activity of HOST can certainly not be a source of income given the taxes to be paid and the bureaucracy, which I accept and respect for ethical sense but which are oppressive and which I want to list: complaint to the Police, complaint to the regional statistics office, complaint to the regional statistics office, denouncing the tourist tax to the Municipality, communication and quarterly payment of the tax to the Municipality, annual declaration to the Municipality, annual declaration to the Revenue Agency, insertion in 730 of the dry coupon, payment of the balance / adjustment of the coupon in July and the deposit in November
