Description
Cascina Fogona is immersed in a wonderful territory, between the sea and the mountains, where you can spend relaxing or sporty and adventurous days.
It is located in Altare on a ridge where the two most important mountain ranges in Italy meet, the Alps and the Apennines and overlooks the Ligurian Sea, reachable in twenty minutes.
Mangiatoia is a large quadruple room ideal for a family of 4/5 people or for a couple looking for spaces dedicated to rest and relaxation.
As soon as you enter this room, the original manger of Cascina Fogona attracts the attention of guests since this room has been created in the rooms that were originally dedicated to the stable.
During the renovation it was decided to keep the manger and enhance the walls by bringing out the exposed stone.
Looking more closely you will notice other typical elements, kept intact, of the old stable.
The quadruple room is equipped with a double bed with premium mattresses and a comfortable sofa that converts into a double bed at the French with 14 cm mattress + topper; For a fee it is possible to add a baby bed or a cot for babies.
The Mangiatoia room has an independent entrance from the rest of the structure and a private bathroom that make it ideal for smart working and for a stay of rest and privacy.
The room, as well as the bathroom which is accessible and equipped, has no architectural barriers and is therefore also suitable for people with motor disabilities.
The bathroom comes with towels and a hairdryer.
In the room there is the kit infusions and herbal teas produced in the company with kettle.

Cascina Fogona is located in Altare, in the province of Savona, on the hills of Liguria, about 20 minutes from the Savona coast and the crystal clear sea of Bergeggi and at the same time 45 minutes from Barolo in the Langhe.
The original structure of the farmhouse is of medieval origins and the most accredited thesis considers it an old farmhouse of 1700.
The renovation was carried out with respect for the historical materials and architectural form, surrounding it with green spaces, nature and agricultural areas conducted in a sustainable and organic regime.
Cascina Fogona is a place of sport, relaxation and fun where there is a fundamental rule: harmony with nature. It was born from the idea of Cristina Puppo, environmental guide hiker, traveler and sportswoman.
