Description
Lovingly restored stone cottage next to our old Catalan farmhouse at the foot of the Albera mountains.
Beside a small river, 2.5km from town, with private patio and garden, amid vineyards, dolmens, olive groves and mountains.

The cottage is separate from the main farmhouse, with its own entrance, private garden and large patio with views of the river and mountains.
YOU WILL BE SURROUNDED BY CALM AND QUIET!
Restored with passion and charm, with all the details to make you feel at home!
The two single beds in one of the bedrooms can be joined to make a double.
Small, fully-equipped kitchen stocked with all the basic essentials for cooking meals (oil, salt, sugar, honey, coffee, tea...)
We offer catered lunches and suppers: please let us know in advance.
Just outside the cottage, you can enjoy a picnic area under a large oak tree and wander freely around our 80 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and fields.

We love the land where we live and we are here to help and give you tips on where to eat and drink LOCAL ECOLOGICAL PRODUCTS, how to find the QUIET SPOTS ON THE COAST, the best MOUNTAIN WALKS... immerse yourself in a landscape rich in nature and culture!
We speak CATALÀ – CASTELLANO – ENGLISH – FRANÇAIS – ITALIANO
We make NATURAL ORGANIC WINES in our cellar attached to the main farmhouse.
If you like, you are welcome to taste our wines and discover how we work, understand and live the land and its products.
We have two very friendly donkeys and two dogs that love to play with children.
We want our guests to respect and appreciate the natural environment and the cottage where they are staying.
Smoking is not allowed inside the cottage.
No pets please.
The cottage is 2.5km from the village of Sant Climent Sescebes.
The village has shops and basic services (bank, pharmacy...)
The Albera Natural Park is within walking distance, with hiking trails and the chance to explore Requesens Castle.
The natural parks of Cap de Creus and Aiguamolls and city of Figueres are all within a 20-40 minute drive.
Preferrably by car, motorbike or bicycle.
There are two buses a day in each direction between Sant Climent Sescebes and Figueres

Let us introduce ourselves: we’re Barbara and Joan Carles Torres.
Our winery is located in the Aspres de l'Albera: a property of 80 hectares of vineyards, meadows, olive groves and cork oak forests in a Mediterranean landscape marked by granite outcrops, dolmens and menhirs, and natural wetlands protected by the Natura 2000 network.
We keep up and protect the land we inherited: we tend to the old vines, plant small plots for new projects and make wines with the aims of enhancing the terroir, the natural landscape and their biodiversity.
We work our Grenache blanc, rouge and noir vines with organic methods and minimal intervention in the soil and plants; we make certified organic natural wines.
We collaborate with ecological and environmental stewardship organizations, farmers and associations for the maintenance and protection of the countryside, promotion of biodiversity and landscape heritage recovery.
In order to show visitors how we live and work, we have restored a cottage as a guesthouse, we've marked out a walking tour of our land, we organize wine-tourism activities and we're always delighted to welcome people in our cellar to talk about and taste our wines together
