Located on the outskirts of a picturesque historic agricultural village, which in turn is situated on top of a mountain overlooking the beautiful wide valley of the Conca de Barberà on the northern edge of the province of Tarragona, where we offer you B&B style accommodation, more or less vegetarian and non-smoking, in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. We offer an excellent self-service style breakfast 6€ per head.



The great advantage of staying in our village and not in the humid and suffocating heat of the coast in summer, is that although it can be as hot outside as the coast on a very sunny day, at night there is a delicious freshness, when one can open the windows and let the cool enter the house, keeping them closed during the day, since the very thick stone walls of the house maintain a constant temperature of 23-23ºC in summer and with the heating the rest of the year at a constant temperature of 18-20º.



The house is equipped with solar heated hot water, which has electrical backup in case the sun does not shine in more than 2 days, which is extremely rare. There are summer or winter duvets on all beds. The windows are equipped with fly nets, and there are practically no mosquitoes throughout the village. Each guest receives a hand towel and shower towel, which are checked before departure, as is kitchen equipment. The discharges in the 4 separate toilets and water taps are equipped with water-saving devices, and the central heating is a special energy-efficient electrical system.

Being a village on top of a mountain, there are unparalleled views over the wide valley of the Conca de Barberà to the sea 50 km away, and from behind the village we see the entire long chain of the Pyrenees, covered with snow except in summer.



So apart from a walk to the top of the village for the views and to visit the 1000 year old Romanesque church and stroll through the old village, or take a walk through the local countryside to visit the ancient spring or pick aromatic plants, there are many interesting visits to do locally.



Our place is in the lower part of the village, which avoids being shrouded in clouds as the top is when it is cloudy, but just as cool in summer, and is more or less at the same altitude as several local places that you can go by bike.

We are very lucky to have just a few minutes drive away the new 5 star hot springs establishment of Rocallaura, extremely well equipped and guaranteed to make you feel a new person in two hours. We have multi-ticket tickets that reduce the price from 23 to 15€ all inclusive.
