Nestled on the slopes of Pratomagno, at 500m above sea level.m, halfway between Florence and Arezzo, among woods and ancient olive groves, Podere Casarotta overlooks the Valdarno and the Chianti hills in a dominant position, with a spectacular view.



Podere Casarotta is a farmhouse of the eighteenth century recently renovated, transformed into a holiday home with pool and divided into comfortable apartments for your holiday in Tuscany. It has had a careful conservative restoration that has maintained as much as possible the original appearance. The apartments have been renovated and furnished in rustic Tuscan style, with exposed beams and terracotta floors.



It is a residence of historical value: the house initially belonged to the Gonfaloniere of Loro Ciuffenna, then it was for a long time a farm dedicated to the production of olive oil and wine. It was owned, among others, by the Antinori family and the Sisters of St. Mary. At a corner of the house is still visible engraved on a stone the date "1774", the year in which the farm became part of the community of Loro Ciuffenna.



The whole house is a perfect retreat for families and friends: it consists of six independent apartments, which are usually rented all together to accommodate groups of up to 24 people (7 rooms in total with 7 double beds, plus 3 sofa beds and 4 extra single beds). The Fienile, an independent townhouse, has a kitchen equipped for groups, a dining room with 16 seats and a large terrace and 24 seats, to enjoy your meals outdoors while admiring the view.



In case of last minute availability we also rent the individual apartments; each apartment has one or two bedrooms and can accommodate 2 to 6 people; all are furnished in the classic Tuscan style, and each of them has its own equipped kitchen, its own private bathroom and a private garden area. All have access to the pool and terrace with views.



Sip a glass of good wine while planning your visits to the most beautiful cities of art, or to the picturesque villages set in the Tuscan countryside; or simply relax reading a good book in the pool, lulled only by the singing of birds and the chirping of cicadas. And if at sunset you dine on the terrace, with the lights coming on in the valley as evening falls, you will not fail to bring home wonderful memories
