Description
Cozy, large apartment fully furnished and equipped, with three large bedrooms, a living room / kitchen, ironing room, two bathrooms, terrace, balcony. A stone's throw away you will find shops, banks, restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, pubs and artisan workshops where you can taste and buy local products particular for their uniqueness and typicality. It is the ideal place to enjoy, walking, the oldest part of the city.
It is located in Gravina in Puglia, home of the Alta Murgia National Park, appreciated for its extra virgin olive oil, mushrooms, dairy products, cheeses, including the "balloon" slow food presidium, wine, anthropic-naturalistic sites. The city, located in the heart of the Alta Murgia National Park, with its territory has a history that is lost in the mists of time and of which the testimonies are still visible in the archaeological site of Botromagno, in the rock churches, in the museums and in the art galleries and in an urban heritage, all to visit, comparable only with that of the Sassi of Matera, (it is 15 minutes by car and is well connected by public transport).
Guests can use the rooms booked, all the services, the balcony overlooked by two of the bedrooms and the terrace.
It is possible to find a free parking nearby: from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 it is also possible to park for a fee almost everywhere.
A thousand-year-old fair (Fiera di San Giorgio) testifies that the city has always been at the center of sheep tracks and commercial streets. From Gravina you can easily reach the most important vestiges of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia (the Puer Apuliae) such as Castel del Monte, Altamura, Andria, Trani, Barletta and Melfi; follow the Appia Antica towards Taranto, see the MARTA museum and end the journey in Brindisi; visit Matera and its Sassi, UNESCO heritage; go to Accettura to get involved in its ancient, folkloric, unchanged feast of May; admire the Lucanian Dolomites and accept the challenge of the flight of the Angel; make an episode on the lakes of the Vulture and participate in the rites of Holy Week; reach and enjoy the Ionian beaches and the Pollino National Park
