You will pass the gate to a very small garden, then onto the very large terrace, from which you access the apartment.



Entrance is through the kitchen, then the corridor, which leads: on the left to bathroom and separate toilets; on the right first door to a small room with a 1 pers mattress, then second door to larger room with a double bed.



Outside is the aforementioned small garden and the large terrace (see pictures), a huge plus and a rare chance within Paris, especially in the summer! The terrace and garden are shared with the house next door.



All in all, the spaces are big-city-sized (= they are small :-) ), and it comes with our (the usual inhabitants') things inside, so you will find an apartment that is clean, practical, in everyday state of use, and to be respected as it is.



Our neighbourhood, Télégraphe, also sometimes called "Hauts de Belleville", is inside Paris itself (meaning relatively central, as Paris is a small area, everything else being considered suburbs). It is mainly serviced by metro line 11, which takes you to the very center (Châtelet) in 15 minutes. Also many buses, the tram, etc. Public transport is all you need in Paris. If you are into rental bikes, velib' is also available.



We also love that our immediate neighbourhood is a bit village-like: we live in the immediate vicinity of a bakery, a pharmacy, a school, a post office, a bar and a few restaurants... it is a mixed, not slowly but not overwhelmingly gentrifying area.



Fun fact: it also happen to be the highest altitude point in Paris (this fact is contested by Montmartre, but attested by an official plaque in our street...) :-
