Description
Penwhilwr, Quiet Earth Eco Retreat was built in 2003 and was awarded Eco House of the Year by Grand Designs in the UK.
A 3 storey straw bale woodland haven offering two large open plan sleeping space with a large downstairs open plan living room and kitchen. There is a large conservatory where the two cats live.
We can host from 1 to 8 guests and it is imperative that guests follow the guidelines for living an off grid experience here ie we are powered only by the sun and wind so the energy has to be monitored.
The home is on a woodland hilltop overlooking the Teifi estuary leading into the nearby ocean.
The village of St Dogmaels is in Pembrokeshire with some of the countries most beautiful beaches, coastline and ancient sites.
The nearest town is Cardigan just a couple of miles away.
The home is set up in the woodland and with no vehicle access to the house, it's a walk through the woods to reach.. giving it a more private retreat.
This is for you if you want a quiet time away.
