Description
Welcome to my study, where there is a comfortable fold out couch bed than can sleep one or two, a wardrobe and a contemplative place to work if you wish.
There's a private bathroom for you adjacent to the study on the corridor. The kitchen is available for light cooking and you are welcome to relax in the living/dining room of course, which my own sleeping loft overlooks and I close off at late night for our mutual privacy. There is a washing machine and a clothesline.
The apartment is on a quiet gardened corner off the tourist path and yet close to everything. I'm an expatriot american irish architect living and working here, and I work daily in my studio down the corridor from the study.
If you would like, I enjoy sharing what I know about the history, nature, culture and daily life of Venice, and have lots of books on all that. This most unique city can be a bit overwhealming on the first go. If you are coming for the Biennale I know a lot about that, as I do about arts and crafts production here and the local list of cultural things going on

Venice Market Shopping and Cooking Together
We can go together to the Rialto fish market and I'll show you how we venetians shop for fish, which is best well before 10am. Then we can either cook it up for lunch at 1pm before you being your day in the city or later at like 7 or 8pm when you are done with the round of your day.
