Description
The villa is on the gated Roda Golf and Beach Resort:It is suitable for families of all ages. We have facilities for very young children (cots and some toys etc)All rooms are air-conditioned and in the winter months there is gas central heating. It is has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) with 3 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are upstairs. The main bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. This bedroom has a balcony overlooking the golf course. One bedroom and bathroom is on the ground floor. On the ground floor is a lounge/dining room. Internet is provided with IPTV. Off the lounge is a fan cooled covered pergola area for alfresco dining with a gas barbecue. This leads onto an enclosed garden with sunloungers and another separate table with two chairs. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob,fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle.The kitchen leads to a utility with cupboards and washing machine. The utility room leads onto a rear garden which has a table and 4 chairs. From the rear garden leads to the shared large swimming pool. We have a covered car port.
All linen including towels and beach towels are supplied. Guests are provided with a 20 Euro card for air-conditioning per week.
We are 25km from Murcia International Airport , which is served by low-cost flights from most UK regional airports and Europe, making it a very convenient location. It’s about a mile from the nearest beaches of the Mar Menor which is sandy with warm shallow waters and backed by a long pushchair-friendly 5km promenade complete with cafe bars and kids play areas dotted along it.
The nearest large supermarkets of Mercadona,Consum, Lidl and Aldi are situated near the front entrance to the gated golf course.
The entire area is low-rise in the main, but for a dose of culture, the historic city of Cartagena is around 20mins away and has some inspiring architecture, museums, good shopping and a pretty waterfront area with bars and bistros. The city of Murcia (40mins) is also quite a discovery with a cosmopolitan feel, great shopping, dining and the impressive Roman ruins. The new Terra Natura zoological park in Murcia is a great day out and a very well put together safari-style experience
