It’s also important to us to play our part in the local economy and support local business whilst looking after our environment. We always make the most of the resources available to us on our doorstep and operate in a sustainable way which is environmentally friendly.



We have 8 en suite rooms at Llety Arall, all planned carefully to ensure you have a pleasant stay in comfortable surroundings, whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or a family or as part of a group. The fixtures and fittings in each room have all been purchased or recycled locally.



This room - Room 08 - is suitable for 2 people. It includes a double bed, it is a level access room and has accessibility aides fitted in the bathroom. This room is suitable for wheelchair users.

There is a communal kitchen on the ground floor which is available for our guests to use. It includes everything you need for a self-catering holiday. There are tea and coffee making facilities in each room. Hairdryer and ironing board available on request. No TVs in rooms at present. Good wi-fi throughout the building.



There is no on-site parking, but there are enough spaces available in nearby car parks around the town. We can advise you on a place to park depending on the length of your stay and type of vehicle.



The area:

Llety Arall is in the centre of Caernarfon on Palace Street. The location is ideal to roam and experience the town itself. With stunning views of the Menai Straits, the castle and its walls, the market, Segontium Roman Fort and historic pubs, there is something for everyone of all ages here. We’d also recommend that you visit the various independent cafes and shops that line the town’s streets. Our accommodation is perfect to discover the best of Caernarfon as a town where the Welsh language is at it’s strongest.



A short drive or bus ride away from Caernarfon, lies Eryri National Park and the highest mountains of Wales. Some of the park’s main attractions include Yr Wyddfa, Wales’s highest summit, Glyderau, Carneddau and Moelwynion. The paths of all of these mountains are within 30 minutes by car of us at Llety Arall. Llyn Padarn (Lake) in the village of Llanberis, only 20 minutes from Caernarfon, is also a popular destination for outdoors and open water activities.



In July 2021, UNESCO announced that the Slate Landscape of Northwest Wales had gained status as a World Heritage Site. The designation recognises the important contribution Wales made to the Industrial Revolution. Included within the designated landscape are Ogwen Valley, Nantlle Valley, Dinorwig, Cwm Pennant, Ffestiniog and Abergynolwyn. The slate culture is deeply rooted in north Wales, so it’s certainly worth visiting the National Slate Museum in Llanberis to know more about this rich history.



If you look over the Menai Straits from Caernarfon, you’ll see Anglesey. It’s a perfect location to go for a walk, or visit its beaches and numerous attractions. Llanddwyn Island, Plas Newydd and Beaumaris Castle are all located less than 45 minutes from Caernarfon and attract visitors from near and far. The island’s coastal path offers spectacular views and various activities from walking and cycling to water-based adventures and more. Having your picture at the famous sign of the village with the longest name in Europe, Llanfairpwll... is a must
