Our home is located in the Pallieterland with its wide landscapes, its Nete valleys and winding dikes.

An ideal place for cycling and walking

Nearby you have "Het Azelhof" with its horse events, "De Jutse Plassen", a nature reserve, "Van Hool" the bus manufacturer and a children's farm with playground: "Het Struisvogelnest" .

The residence is 6 km from the city center of Lier with its historical monuments, the Zimmer Tower. There is a Beguinage and many terraces and stores.

There is a lot to do in "Lierke Plezierke"! Boat trip on the Nete, subtropical indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, mini golf, parks, city fences, playgrounds, tennis, skate park, petting zoo, 3 Forts.

Highly recommended are also the nature reserves "De Kesselse Heide" with as recreation "De Beemden" with playground, "De Averegte" (also with playground and animals).

The vacation home (80 m²) is surrounded by fields and meadows and is located at the end of a dead end street. Adjacent to the owner's house.

There is a separate entrance door. Free parking. Guests receive 25 benefit vouchers per person on arrival for discounts at activities, attractions and restaurants. Bed-bath and kitchen linen are included in the price. Bath towels for swimming or sunbathing have to be brought by yourself.

Ground floor:

Kitchen with dining area with in the corner a bathtub with hand - and rain shower, shielded by a shower curtain and folding screen of 4m. long. It is not a lockable room with a door. There is a folding screen.

There is a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator with separate freezer, microwave, conventional oven, coffee maker, Senseo, kettle, blender, juicer and sufficient kitchen utensils. Breakfast is not offered.

Dressing room with 6 shelves, 2 hanging bars with coat racks.

Board games, chess set, children's pool, high chair and eating utensils for children.

Laundry room with sink, hair dryer, washing machine and cabinets.

Hall with coat rack and toilet. Adjacent covered terrace (south facing).

South-facing private garden with bocce court and shady spots for dining, a hammock for chilling. The communal swimming pond is shared by my husband and me and is heated by solar energy in the summer. There are lounge chairs with cushions, BBQ (free), tennis table and darts.

1st floor:

Living-bedroom with 2p. bed (1m80b), a 3 pers. sofa, large corner desk. smart T.V. , CD player and radio.

Adjacent to the 1st bedroom: a small, low sleeping area (8m²) with a double bed (1m80b) with a ridge height of 1m40. Great for cocooning! This sleeping area is separated by a wall and has no door.

A DVD player with movies and CD player.

A large south-facing roof terrace with a wide view and always sun!

Possibility to bring a tent. Maximum occupancy house + tent = 4 pers.

There are no stair gates for toddlers but a shield can be placed (please notify in advance).

There are no cribs, but there is space to place cribs.

Deer, pheasants, hares, foxes, herons, squirrels, swans and ducks occasionally visit us in the meadows next to our garden!

Check in from 16:00 to 23:30 Check out 10:30 or earlier. Please notify the check-in time one day in advance.

The swimming pond is communal. Nevertheless, we would appreciate it if after swimming you use the guests' garden to relax or sunbathe. (See photos of the large garden).

Guests staying longer than 7 nights can use the washing machine for free.

As an entertainment, I can highly recommend my daughter's business: Parade (Paradeplein 7) : bakery with breakfast, lunch, brunch, delicious drinks and snacks. Quiet location with terrace in the center of Lier. Car-free. Parking nearby: "Dungelhoeff" or 5h for free: Tramweglei in the back. Take a free ticket! There is a cultural center "De Mol" with theater performances, etc. Nearby free parking. For cultural information you should consult the sites. There are brochures in the house. Bus stop at 7'.
