Description
Welcome to our accommodation offer, located in the center of an enchanting triangle, formed by the cities of Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels. Our refuge is hidden in the beautiful Scheldt Valley National Park, where the majestic Scheldt flows. Here you can embrace the true beauty of nature, as our property is also a recognized 'Quiet Area', where natural sounds predominate over man-made noise. It is not rare to spot wild animals in our ecological garden or in the surrounding area, such as roe deer, blue herons, kingfishers, variegated and green woodpeckers, and sometimes even a beaver.
Our accommodation is an oasis of comfort and sustainability. Completely renovated and rebuilt according to the principles of a passive house in 2016, our stay excels in energy efficiency, with an Energy Performance Certificate of only 7. Solar energy and a solar water heater take care of most of our energy needs, while ecological materials, such as wooden frame construction and cellulose insulation, form the basis of our eco-friendly design. Our decoration completes the circle by using recycled materials, such as old wooden beer containers for lighting. The house is smartly operated and monitored by an advanced home automation system.
ScraB&Ble is officially registered with Tourism Flanders and strictly adheres to the tourism legislation. This offers our guests peace of mind knowing that their stay is safe and in accordance with the highest standards. In addition, we are proud to carry the Green Key certificate since 2022, underlining our commitment to sustainability.
Our apartment consists of two bedrooms and a cozy living room. The interesting thing is that the rooms can also be rented separately, giving you the flexibility to adapt your stay to your needs. The common room is available for the 2 rooms.
