Casale Vignolo is an old stone farmhouse in the Orvieto countryside, halfway between Orvieto and Bolsena with its lake.

We have independent rooms fully equipped to make our guests' stay comfortable.

We live with many animals: donkeys, dogs, cats, chickens... and many trees.

We are trying to collect all the water we can so that no one dies of thirst: neither us, nor the animals and not even the lake.

Casale Vignolo is in fact in the hydrogeological basin of Lake Bolsena, and all the water we collect will also feed the springs that bring water to the lake.

Bolsena, in fact, has no tributary rivers and all its water comes from underground springs, mostly fed by the water that rains on our plateau, the Alfina plateau.



We have been living at the Casale for over twenty years, me, my husband, my two daughters and my granddaughter. We believe that every positive gesture we make is for us but also for the whole world.

We do not use poisons, if they kill plants they kill us too. What we buy we look for strictly organic.

We have many friends who make up a beautiful rural community.

Many produce good things to eat and others are artists and creatives.

We are sure that those who come to visit us will do their best to enrich our little world and be part of it ..
