Welcome to the closerie de la Fuye,

La Closerie de la Fuye is an area of 10ha. The house dates back to 1545 and has been in my family for over 250 years. I am very attached to this place, the garden, the park, the woods. My dream is that this place is open and useful to all. The dream becomes a reality every day.



The house is renovated with the modern comforts of the most beautiful guest rooms. The décor is family-friendly, the furniture is all those that have always been there :).



An association, the Friends of La Fuye, allows us to open the place to artistic, ecological and humanist initiatives and projects.

We involve vulnerable or disabled people in our projects. They are not beneficiaries but active members of the association.



We are also developing, for vulnerable people, a concept of "farm for caresses". We have chickens, sheep (Spirit and Quinou), a llama (Oscar), an alpaca (Ernest) and an adorable dog (Okari). Soon the farm will expand with other animals (small goats, ducks, rabbits.



You can go for walks with Oscar and Ernest in the woods and in the park. Soon also accompanied hikes with our llamas.



We are working on a care garden outside the walls which would also be an associative garden where we all bring to others. For example we have a large floral calendar, both aesthetic and educational with 250 plants arranged in a circle and whose leureasons indicate the time of year. We also plant tomatoes, raspberries, currants, aromatic plants ...



We are lucky to have archives that go back to the fifteenth century and full of "old things". The barn is also an interesting place: it dates from the XV or XVI th.



Every year the association organizes cultural and artistic events. In 2022 we welcomed more than 1300 visitors, 40 artists, 7 events. Sometimes it's very small things: lectures, music, theater in the living room, sometimes in the barn and also in the park.



We invite our guests to join the association and thus keep in touch and perhaps help or advise us. There are a hundred of us.
