At Tolasudolsa, we pride ourselves on offering homemade traditional cuisine that honors our commitment to sustainable tourism. We support local economies through eco-cuisine practices, anti-waste efforts, and self-production. Our R&B is divided into a private ground floor residence for your hosts, Valeria & Giorgio, while guests are welcomed on the first floor which houses three simple yet spacious bedrooms alongside a communal breakfast and dining room. The external bathrooms are conveniently located adjacent to your rooms. In light of health safety measures, we've simplified our decor without compromising comfort or peace. Guests have the option to request cleaning services during their stay or opt for privacy to limit room access. Please note that during winter months, reservations require a minimum 48-hour notice before check-in. For those bringing bikes or motorbikes, secure storage and workshop facilities managed by Giorgio await you in the basement. A private parking space exclusively for guests is situated in front of our house along with areas designated for barbecues and outdoor dining. Our establishment maintains a strict no-smoking policy within interior spaces. With beautiful cats roaming freely indoors and outdoors at Tolasudolsa, we kindly ask that any additional pets be pre-approved at booking time. Valeria & Giorgio offer flexible key handover arrangements so guests can enjoy independence throughout their stay. Adventure seekers will find ample activities nearby including mountain biking, trekking, trail running, horse riding, snowshoeing, sleddogging as well as Nordic skiing and cross-country skiing. Explore local gastronomy influenced by Parmesan, Ligurian and Tuscan traditions renowned for delicacies like IGP porcini mushrooms from Borgo Val di Taro and Valceno truffles.
WHAT TO DO - The area and the R&B are easily accessible from the main cities of the north Italy and the location is ideal for day trips to Lunigiana in Tuscany, to Cinque Terre, Sestri Levante and/or Chiavari all in Liguria for a day at the beach) to Parma and Bologna or to the castles in the area. It is ideal also for a day at the beach even in winter, in Parma and Bologna or to visit the Castles and Villages of the area.
In the area you can also practice sports like: MOUNTAIN BIKE, TREKKING, TRAIL RUNNING, HORSE RIDING, SNOWSHOES, SLEE DOG, NORDIC SKIING AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING.
The area is renowned for the IGP porcini mushroom of Borgo Val di Taro, for the truffle of Valceno and for the delicious mountain gastronomy, with dishes that are influenced by the Parmesan, Ligurian and Tuscan.
NEARBY - The WWF Oasis of the Ghirardi, which is 5Km away from Tolasudolsa, is spread over 600 hectares of meadows, woods and streams. It is the home of several species of animals, plants and mushrooms; it preserves rare habitats, enchanting landscapes and it changes continuously as the seasons pass. Every day the nature reserve can be visited freely by foot by accessing from Costa dei Rossi (Albareto) or Porcigatone (Borgotaro).

We are very careful in the preparation of dishes for those with intolerances, allergies, needs or specific eating styles. Nevertheless, in our kitchen we use products containing allergens (e.g. peanuts, flours, nuts, dairy products, soy, eggs, etc.) and therefore we cannot guarantee a total absence of cross-contamination. Ask our staff, they will be able to recommend the most suitable solutions for you. The choice of the agreed menu was made in order to offer a "tailor-made" experience and to avoid waste or overproduction. The dishes vary according to the seasons and offer the combination with wines suitable for the dishes agreed in the menu itself. The Menu is possibly agreed in time and made on the basis of the number of people expected and in relation, as far as possible, to the needs in fact will be asked to communicate which are the foods that are not to your liking.

Half Day Tour Duration: Departure: about 9.00 am - return: about 1.00 pm, excluding breaks Rates: for individuals or groups up to 4 bikers: € 35.00 = each - for groups of 5 to 8 bikers: € 85.00 = per day to be divided among the participants. With our Guide Giorgio, on arrival, the bikers will carry out a short briefing where they will analyze and verify the level of experience, preparation and bike of the participant (s) in order to offer a "tailor-made" excursion, both in terms of difficulty and duration. We are husband and wife: Giorgio and Valeria Genovese, transplanted directly in 2014 from the Milanese hinterland, stressful and chaotic, in that of Valtaro, (valley of the Taro river), in Emilia-Romagna, province of Parma (north of Tuscany and Liguria)....in short, we immersed ourselves in almost uncontaminated nature.
We have abandoned relatives, respective jobs as employees and homes to totally change lives in search of a little "good living"
