"Once upon a time" a story, a place, a project, a guest house... Otherwise!
Like Candide, the character of Voltaire, after spending a large part of "my lives" traveling the world, I decided to settle in the limousine countryside to "Cultivate my garden", reconnect with the essential, with nature and try to live differently!
This place, in which I welcome you is located in the center of a plot of 1.8 hectares. It is located 10 km north of the center of Saint Yrieix La Perche (87500), in the heart of the triangle Limoges, Brive la Gaillarde, Périgueux, and 2 steps from the Périgord Limousin Regional Park. It is a country of art, history and gastronomy established in a green, hilly, sublime and preserved setting.
I welcome you to my home, as part of an evolving, global and multiple project. I have been working since the beginning of 2020 to renovate the interior of the house which was my first challenge. This project aims in particular to aim for a certain food autonomy, in water, in energy. It will integrate a vegetable garden, an orchard, a greenhouse, a chicken coop, a hutch inspired by the principles of Permaculture and low-tech ... It is respectful of the environment, biodiversity and nature as a whole. I hope that it will become a space for sharing, conviviality, awakening of consciences on the issues of our time, without wooden language, but with respect...
I propose to receive you in a first bright guest room, comfortable, equipped with its bathroom.
I put at your disposal indoor and outdoor common areas in which I can make myself available for those who wish, for moments of light or serious exchanges ... or both...
You will also find areas of intimacy, calm, relaxation, conducive to contemplation, introspection and meditation...
In addition, the region is perfect for hiking, cycling or horseback riding, or to go green and start a return to your essentials ...
