It all started more than 15 years ago with the idea of creating a place, on 5 hectares in the middle of nature, where we could raise snails and welcome groups in educational farms. There's so much to say about these little horned beasts, and it's so good...
Wishing to complete our agricultural activity and diversify our production throughout the year, we have managed to adapt to the natural generosity of our soils, with the picking of berries, wild nettle, and the extraction of birch sap.
Here, almost everything is homemade... with lots of raw wood, recycling and ingenuity... It then seemed obvious to us to create small huts to share our magical place.
Then COVID came... modifying our consumer society, with a real need for many people to return to nature, frank and sincere human relationships, and simple things... Requests for nature stays in cabins have therefore risen sharply.
With the vagaries of the summer of 2022, we have made the decision to stop snail farming. At present, our agricultural farm is only for nettle and birch sap extraction.
