At Locanda del Minatore you will find your holiday apartment in Maremma, to spend a stay of relaxation and nature and explore Tuscany from the sea to the hills, from the wild scrub to the cities of art. An ecological holiday in close contact with nature awaits you, but you will always have cultural attractions at your fingertips!
There are four holiday apartments, two of which are on two floors, all equipped for both summer and winter stays. Your animal friends are welcome. Next to the Locanda del Minatore you will find our riding school. Iuri, the owner, has the qualification of Environmental Equestrian Guide and will be able to accompany you on the saddle on more or less demanding trekking routes, to discover always different landscapes. For beginners, small and large, it is possible to follow basic theoretical-practical riding lessons.

Massa Marittima is a pretty mining village surrounded by pine forests and natural beauty, which you can explore thanks to the many paths marked by the Mountain Community for hiking, trekking on foot, by bike and on horseback. Already in the immediate vicinity of the Locanda del Minatore you can dive into the bathing and calm waters of the suggestive Lago dell'Accesa.
Thanks to its strategic position, Massa Marittima is one of the most popular tourist centers in the province of Grosseto. The beautiful beaches of Follonica are in fact just twenty minutes away by car. It takes a short time to reach famous seaside resorts such as Marina di Bibbona, Castagneto Carducci, San Vincenzo, Populonia, Castiglione della Pescaia, Marina di Grosseto or the port of Piombino, from where boats leave for the Island of Elba. From your holiday home in Massa Marittima you can also easily visit Siena, Florence and the beautiful villages of Tuscany or Etruscan archaeological sites such as Baratti and Vetulonia. To enjoy a bit of relaxation, you will always have at hand the spas of Venturina and Saturnia.
