Presentation
Before this neo-rural adventure, I experienced a few years of wandering. The need to leave, to be new, to find a job that makes sense and where I feel aligned with my values, took time to materialize. I don't know about the French but I had read somewhere that 7 out of 10 Belgians were in this case. For a summer, I went to meet inspiring projects in Brittany, such as my neighbors in the Bois du Barde or Autour du Feu in Ploneis, which defends pedagogy through nature. Step by step, the idea was forged. Patiently, like we make a puzzle.
The idea of the guest house is quite old since it comes from a meeting in the Creuse with a person who also held a guest room and who strongly inspired me. The reconversion took more than 10 years to mature in my mind and it was on the occasion of a "brown out", a loss of meaning, that I took the big turn.
I also found inspiration and joy in the gesture, in the manual. I find it in the practice of massage but also in creative activities. Creativity had always been a factor of well-being in my home. Nature was another eye-opener. The last months of my former job in Brussels, I did an hour by bus out of the office, and the immersion in the forest produced a vertiginous and immediate drop in my stress level. It has been demonstrated, both nature and creation are factors of well-being and decrease of anxiety and stress.
This is what led me to train myself little by little and to offer workshops to make these sensations known to as many people as possible. Coming from the North of France, it is therefore rich in these meetings and these personal developments that I decided to put my suitcases in the heart of Brittany.
