We will be delighted to welcome you to the Lavandières de Fontaine located in the heart of Thiérache in Fontaine-Lès-Vervins. Upon arrival, you will discover in the rue des Lavandières, an old farmhouse bordering the village pond and the two wash houses. This is where calm wins you and time passes again at a forgotten pace.
Les Lavandières de Fontaine were born in the eyes of Cédric when he discovered this farmhouse of the eighteenth century abandoned for 10 years. That was in 2009. It took him 3 years of "homemade" work to be able to open the guest rooms, the cottage of the Lavandières and the reception room. And since then, step by step, he has continued to develop, enlarge, beautify. It is the story of a reconversion, a change of life for both of us. We love the peaceful atmosphere of our Lavandières. We are eager to offer you a bubble of serenity, we want our guests to feel that time has stopped during their stay.
The whole is located on a wooded plot of one hectare with direct access to the communal pond where lovers can walk hand in hand, sportsmen enjoy the fresh air and children admire the birds.
At 2, with family, friends or for business, we will make every effort to ensure that your stay with us is a real pleasure break.
