With my wife, Valérie, our story begins at the nursery school of Vallon en Sully, a small village in Bourbonnais, where we met...

Since then, "water has flowed under the bridges"... And in 40 years of living together our common thread has always been the desire to meet people, to discover, to exchange, to learn, to question ourselves and to travel.

After various moves and professional adventures, we settled in Orange, in 2015, for its flavor of life and with the project of opening a vegan Guest House!

We were returning from an Asian expatriation, in Bali, where we already had this Guest House project. Everything did not "quite" go as we had planned... So, we filled our backpacks with smiles, experiences, joys, happiness, friendships scattered at the end of the world and we returned to France to paint new horizons.

We learned a lot by discovering our limitations and the value of the word resilience.

Today it is me, Thierry, who dedicates myself 100% to the activity of host to put myself entirely at the service of travelers. It's quite a workload and I couldn't do anything without Valérie who assists me in addition to her position at the town hall of Orange!

We offer 2 separate offers in 2 different houses. On the one hand the Urban Cottage, in the city center of Orange and next to the famous Ancient Theater. On the other hand, 3 Bed and Breakfast with possibility of vegan catering in a residential area of the city, 20 minutes walk from the cottage.

I grew up in a hotel-restaurant and started my life path in the hotel industry. I kept in me the pleasure of welcoming and of service. For example, the cottage is equipped with a secure key box, very useful in case of unforeseen events but I usually want to be present for each arrival and departure.

As for the Bed and Breakfast, our greatest pleasure is to invite you, if you wish, to dine at our table to share with you more than 17 years of vegetable cuisine. Otherwise, you can dine outside in one of the many restaurants in the area. Breakfast, meanwhile, is already included in the price of your room.

During a stay, you will realize or reinforce the fact that it is not only possible but also easy, convenient, economical, fast and pleasant to eat vegan. You will acquire or enrich your knowledge on the subject in a relaxing context by discovering our beautiful region.

Overcoming fears, taking a 1st step, daring to assert yourself, learning and surprising yourself constantly is something we can all achieve. When I became vegan, I changed my life in 3 seconds without any frustration and with the instant joy of finally feeling like myself in the right place.

We all want to improve our well-being and reduce suffering. Killing for a living is not inevitable. One can live and let live and thus have a positive influence on those around one.
