Raised in close contact with the scent of nature and the beauty of the landscapes of the Maremma, at the age of 19 Luca Garbelli participated in an olive harvest together with some friends: it was then that his passion for the alio and the history of the Terra Nera farmhouse was born. Spurred on by his friend Don Giorgio, Luca bought a piece of land together with another friend, Federica, and began to cultivate it.
Year after year, Luca has rented other land under management and, thanks to the experience gained together with some local farmers, he has managed to improve more and more quantity and quality of the oil ...

The land is located in the small village Bivio di Montorgiali, in a place called "Terra Nera": this is the name given to the oil... and the farm inaugurated a few years ago!
The Terra Nera farmhouse now offers 3 apartments and a villa of different capacities, for a total of 18 beds: an ideal solution also for a group holiday! All accommodations have an independent entrance, garden and private porch, are equipped with bathroom, equipped kitchen and all the accessories for a relaxing holiday, including satellite TV and Wi-Fi.
The farmhouse has large outdoor green spaces, equipped with a relaxation area with barbecue corner, gazebo and a swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests. Thanks to the heating of the apartments, we can accommodate you all year round and you can always take your four-legged friends on holiday: pets are allowed!

In the months of October and November, the main activity is the olive harvest: if you stay in the Terra Nera farmhouse, a unique experience awaits you among the olive trees, with olive harvesting directly from the plants, visits to the mill and theme nights with tastings and oil tastings together with specialists in the sector.
In each month of the year you can also:
take walks and snacks among the olive trees of the farm;
take advantage of various trekking routes, by mountain bike and on horseback, to get to know and immerse yourself in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma;
rent boats to reach the islands of Giannutri and Giglio;
