Quinta dos Cochichos is a family run rural guesthouse with a few centenary old renovated houses, with preserved Algarvian authenticity. Situated in Quelfes, a genuine countryside area 4 km away from the city of Olhão and the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, we offer quiet and comfortable self-catered accommodation, amidst the typical flora of the Algarve. Being an aficionado of the organic agriculture, Marc develops fruit trees, vegetables, teas and herbs, which guests may savour during their stay.
Quinta dos Cochichos has 5 different units:
1 apartment with 1 double bedroom and 1 triple bedroom (Casa da Alfarroba)
1 apartment with 2 double bedrooms (Casa do Figo)
1 studio (Casa da Nespera)
1 duplex with 1 double bedroom (Casa da Amendoa)
1 duplex with 1 double bedroom (Casa da Oliveira)

Each unit has a private terrace with outside furniture, free wi-fi, fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette, living room, bathroom with shower, free parking space. The swimming pool (shared) and sauna for 4 people.

Quinta dos Cochichos is a local farm, built back in 1917. The houses have been totally renovated, with 5 different accommodation units. The farm is set in about 4 acres, surround by almond, fig, carob and olive trees.

Our Guesthouse is situated in the still unspoiled Algarvian countryside….. it is a haven for the bird watchers and nature lovers and you may also find our friends the chameleons, which is always a delight to watch for grownups and children.
The picturesque village of Quelfes is small, there are some local cafés and a great restaurant!
Alternatively to the self-catered houses, guests may visit the restaurants in Olhão and savour the local cuisine, known mainly for its seafood and great variety of fish.
Faro, located 10 km away, is also a good place to visit typical restaurants and nightlife.
Close to the Ria Formosa Natural Park, you will have the possibility to visit the various beautiful white beaches, go dolphin or bird watching as well as hippocampus.
Faro International Airport is a 25-minute drive away and the Ria Formosa Natural Park is 4 km away. Praia da Fuseta is a 10-minute drive away.
