Warm greetings from the sunny Istria! My name is Branka, and I am growing and maturing together with the the house: first my parents decided to add an additional apartment to our family home to supplement their income, and right now I am expanding the living area to the first floor of the same house. Since the construction of the apartment 25 years ago, we hosted a very diverse people in it and, although I love to travel, I am happy that the world comes to us, too.
My husband and I are taking care of the apartment now and we live in the same house. Since I work mostly from home, you will be probably seeing me more than him. I am a bookworm, my shelves are full of books in English and I will be happy to lend you some of them during your stay here. I love animals in all kinds, shapes and forms and have an adopted ex-hunting dog who failed at hunting since she was afraid of loud noises. She is friendly with the people: she will not approach you first, but if you show interest in her and call her, it is likely that she will bring you her toys and invite you to play. However, she is afraid of other animals, no matter how small or harmless they are. That is the reason we decided that, despite my affection for pets, they will be not allowed in the apartment. We are working on her fears and I hope that in the future she will be more comfortable so we can host the pets, too.
