The B&B MONTEBELLO, is on the second floor of our house, is recently renovated and has independent access. The thermal insulation of the roof and walls and the internal plasters were carried out in green building, with a compound of hemp and lime, an innovative method in Veneto at the time of construction.
We offer you three comfortable rooms, two doubles, one with a third bed, and one twin. Currently we have only one large and comfortable bathroom, equipped with personalized lockers for each room. The B & B has an environment for breakfast, with a small kitchen. Structure therefore ideal for family groups or friends. The rooms are furnished with old furniture of our families. We have two covered parking spaces, large courtyard, green space in the back and storage room for bicycle storage.
Immersed in Valbelluna between the foothills and the Piave, in the Municipality of Cesiomaggiore, our B&B bears the name of the hill on which we live. In an incomparable position, from here our guests can enjoy the view of the Feltrine and Belluno Alps, which join the Treviso Prealps to form a unique chain of mountains and hills. We are in the heart of the production of the DECO potato of Cesiomaggiore, of the corn sponcio for polenta, of barley for the Dolomiti beer of Pedavena, of the gialet bean - Slowfood presidium - and other local specialties. A few minutes from here you can visit two important structures, located in our municipality: the original Bicycle Museum and the Provincial Ethnographic Museum, which contains considerable documentation about the life of the past. The foothills, with its hills and its winding and quiet streets, is the ideal environment to be traveled on foot or by bicycle.
At the base of the hill of Montebello passes the cycle path 'Via Claudia Augusta'; moreover, in Cesiomaggiore and Busche it is possible to have technical assistance for bicycles. Beyond the hilly area begin the mountains of the Belluno Dolomites National Park, which is a treasure trove of thousands of plant species, some endemic. There are numerous paths, some even thematic, that climb along the slopes of the mountains and that emerge on real natural paradises, many of which are located right in the territory of Cesiomaggiore. Our B&B is therefore an ideal base for holidays, especially for family groups or friends who want to visit these beautiful places.
