The sardines are a collective under construction, with an ecological, solidarity, cultural openness and horizontality project. While waiting to complete the collective, the ground floor of the house is rented for the summer. The tenants will therefore be in a completely independent part of the house, but they will be able to have interactions with the inhabitants they will meet outside, including the two who live in the house.
The floor offered for rent includes:
- a bedroom (15 m2) with a double bed, an available wardrobe and a desk. This room has a large window to the west, and a window and patio door that overlook a south-facing veranda.
- a magnificent veranda (32 m2), glazed on three sides with patio doors that can open in full and overlook the garden.
- a bathroom with toilet (4 m2).
- a room to leave things (10 m2)
- a kitchen with gas hob and an oven (14 m2)
- ground floor terrace, located in front of the kitchen (exclusive use)
In addition, tenants have access to the entire wooded park that constitutes the property, with respect of course for the other people present.

The house is beautiful. It is an old construction, in stone, that the successive owners have enriched each in their own way: one by adding a tower, the other by building verandas, ...
It is surrounded by the park, a huge garden where food autonomy is patiently built (vegetable garden, planting of fruit trees, chickens).
The place is located 10 minutes walk from the center of the village of Dauphin, charming Provencal village with its flowery cobbled streets, its andrones (staircase streets that can be covered by houses) ,... and also its small cultural place nestled in a vaulted cellar.
Small nearby rivers, although dried up in places in summer, still allow you to cool off in small corners where they flow all year round.
Forcalquier is a 10-minute drive and 30 minutes by bike (via small country roads). It is a very lively small town, with its large Monday market, its cinema (located in an old chapel), its concert hall, its restaurants, its Thursday farmers' market ...
The surrounding nature is beautiful and varied: hills, lavender fields, white oak forests, small Perched Provencal villages, ...
